When your cost management consultant should negotiate for you

Say goodbye to encounters with sales guys you'd just as soon avoid

Stop hassling with vendors and let your consultant negotiate the best deal

People selling products and services to businesses almost always have the advantage in negotiations, since they get a lot more practice at it than any single customer does.

I know that not all salespeople are pushy. Hey, I sell to businesses too. And I’m sure your sales staff is even nicer.

But there are plenty of situations involving sales people that you’d rather not deal with. And that puts you in a difficult position if you want to negotiate better deals from your vendors. For example:

You do what you do best. We do what we do best.

That’s one more reason for hiring a cost management consultant. Once we have identified areas where your company can save a lot of money, and once you have authorized us to put those plans into play, we handle all the negotiating for you.

You get a double benefit:

  1. First, we’re good at it. We negotiate contracts like this all of the time. We know what is really a good deal and what isn't. We spend much of our time prescreening vendors so you don't have to.
  2. Second, you don’t have to take time away from running your company.

Even after the new contracts are signed and the new services are up to speed, you can continue to offload sales calls to us for review. Is the "credit card guy" saying he can get you a better deal on merchant card fees? Send ‘em our way. Think of how your productivity will climb with those out of your hair.

Have you suffered through a rough negotiation and felt like you could have done better? I’d be interested in hearing about it. Leave a comment using the form below!
